The company is 100% Nigerian content; incorporated in Nigeria in 2008; and with a combined human resource and technical experience of over two decades. AFEL is affiliated to and in partnership with Conservation Institutions, as well as with the following environmental accredited companies and laboratories: Earthquest International Ltd. (EQIL) and Jenneoby Environmental Laboratory Services Ltd. (JELS), Nigeria.

AFruit Enterprises is a subsidiary of AFEL with the mandate to market and distribute its eco-friendly/green products and services including Solar Technology.

• Environmental Social and Impact Assessment (ESIA) studies;
• Environmental Evaluation studies (EES/EER) and Post Impact Assessment (PIA);
• Environmental Monitoring (EM) and Environmental Auditing (EA); and
• Biodiversity Conservation and Ecosystem Management Reviews.

Most of these studies and activities involve:

1. Proposal development and costing/budgeting
2. meetings/planning, screening and scoping
3. literature review/desktop research and the production of ToR/SoW, ESR and PIAR
4. scientific research/study of the biophysical environment, and survey of the socioeconomic environment & human health of host community:
5. establishing coordinates (geo-referencing) for sampling stations & mapping/map production activities; and
6. fieldwork/data sampling collection and collation (ex-situ)
7. chain of custody, QA/QC and laboratory analyses of collected samples (in-situ)
