  • Environmental quality assessments and evaluation of water, air, soil, vegetation, etc. and Environmental studies for water treatment plants
  • Facilitated stakeholders’ consultation and participation during project execution.  Developed guidelines and strategies for effective implementation of Environmental Management Plans.
  • Supported environmental awareness campaigns with regulators, communities, contractors and other stakeholders at various phases of projects.
  • Management of corporate Community Affairs, Safety, Health, Environment and Security (CASHES) policy; and training for Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Review and produced several EIA and other environmental Reports for various clients.
  • Topographic mapping of Ikorodu areas for dredging activities
  • AFEL principals were among the first consultants called to design and initiate EIA process for Gas Plant Projects for IPPs in Nigeria

 

In addition, AFEL is active in the design, implementation and management of:

  • Recently developed and prepared proposals for EIA and EER in offshore and deep offshore Nigeria (Rivers, Cross River and Akwa-Ibom States) for Oil and Gas Projects
  • Renewable green energy services/Solar projects:  Business development for solar technologies – solar energy systems and solar-powered products – for commercial, household and municipal use (solar village). Developed initiatives and proposals or UNDP and French Investors to pilot Solar Energy Projects for Community dwellers in Nigeria.
  • AFEL has been involved in the installation of outdoor and indoor solar products for corporate and individual clients in Nigeria (such as Ebenezery Heights International Schools, Clinic and Residential estates, Lekki, Nigeria; and Doyin Group of Companies, Zion Court, Alma Beach Estate, Lekki, Lagos).
  • Our partners and team members have supplied and installed numerous solar works in various parts of Nigeria and overseas.

 

AFEL has developed IPP both technical and financial proposals for various clients. Its principals participated in one of the 1st environmental surveys to initiate IPP in Nigeria.
